Big Bend National Park is a beautiful park

Big Bend National Park in Texas is an American national park located near Mexico. National significance is given to the park because it protects the most extensive area of Chihuahuan Desert ecology and topography in the United States. It was named after a large bend in Rio Grande/Rio Bravo. More than 1,200 species are protected in the park, including 450 birds, 56 reptile species, 75 mammals, and 56 bird species. Other park activities include stargazing, scenic drives, and programs led by Big Bend rangers. This area is rich in cultural history. It has archeological sites that date back to nearly 10,000 years, as well as more recent pioneers and ranchers, miners, and ranchers. The Chisos Mountains, the highest mountain range in America, are found in the park. The park is home to volcanic dikes and sea fossils. It covers an area of 801,163 acres. The Rio Grande/Rio Bravo, which runs for more than 1,000 miles, forms the border between Mexico and the United States. Big Bend National Park manages about 118 miles of that border.
